I am using a HTC HD7 now.
But ever since I know that Sony Ericsson is launching 2 new mobile models, I have been longing to get my hands on one.
2 models, Xperia Arc or Xperia Play?
After some research, I chose Xperia Arc.
Big screen? checked. Sleek? checked. Classy?checked. I Love!
So, last night, I decided to go get it at Bishan Junction 8's Sony Ericsson outlet.
My happiness was ruined big time by the gungho sales supervisor(female) and a clueless/nonsense sales personnel(male).
1) Screen protector - They intro-ed me a matt one, cost $28 but no stock.They insisted that I pay for it first then come back 2 days later (I am buying the phone now so I need the protector right there and then).Super dummy! Insist I buy with the casing so that it will be cheaper?! Like I care?!!$28 each,2 items equal $56 and they say package will be $50. $6 cheaper? Is it even enough for a Mcdonalds value meal? But I only want the screen protector because the casing is so ugly!
2) Refused to let me pay by card, saying that there will be additional admin charges. I am like, WTF!!? So?? I just want to pay,take and go! Male told female dummy don't what shit and the female dummy comes talking to me fiercely.Screw her! Accused me of only wanting to pay $888 by card but their terms are $888 by cash only! I already said okay! Are they deaf or what?? I don't want to walk all the way to the atm machine to withdraw $1000 and walk back to the shop to pay. Waste my time and strength! I am not those kiasu aunties who go to markets and bargain hardcore! Do I look like I can't afford it?
3) Kept me waiting by ignoring me for a whole good 5 minutes at least then took a brochure and point at the terms and conditions regarding the admin charges and 7% GST charge while talking and insisting fiercely to me. WTF!! I seriously don't get her issue? I have NEVER once mentioned the price of the mobile phone, in fact, I don't even know it costed $888 by cash only. In my mind, I am like, I just want to have this mobile phone.Nothing else.
4) Said she will top up the differences of the price! Dummy female still doesn't know what I want.
5) Dummy female finally realised that there was a misunderstanding but she wasn't apologetic and even said:" He's younger than you, 你就大人有大谅, forgive him lah!" WTH lah! What has it got to do with age? I am mad with her customer service attitide, not him,yet.
6) At the mean time, my ID is with them so I can't just walk away. I repeated at least 5 times: " Can I have my ID back?" before they finally returned it to me. I took off. Frustrated max!
I guessed the 自大 supervisor will never come to her senses that I refused to pay is because of her bloody attitude and not because of the price or her new staff.
Anyway, SCREW her!!!
