Way back during the days of the Yuan dynasty,Mongolians ruled parts of China. Life unfer these invaders was harsh, and all forms of communications were banned to prevent a revolt. It was then that the Ming revolutionary Zhu YuanZhang and his advisor Liu BoWen formulated a brilliant plan. They would coordinate an uprising by planting secret messages within mooncakes, and spread a rumor that a deadly plague could be prevented by eating these special mooncakes. And thus, the Han Chinese revolt on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month was organised successfully, and the Chinese won themselves freedom from their cruel conquerors forever...
